Features And Benefits of Citroen's Extended Warranty

SUMMARY OF COVER

This warranty is available for vehicles under valid Approved Used Car Warranty, up to 7 years old and under 75,000 miles at the date of purchase.

What is covered?

Cover against the cost of mechanical or electrical repairs or replacement required as a result of a manufacturing or material defect provided the necessary work is completed by a Citroen Authorised Repairer. It could include the additional benefits of the optional Citroen Assistance.

What is not covered?

No responsibility will be accepted under the warranty extension where the repair or replacement is required as a direct result of:

• The vehicle having been damaged by corrosion, neglect, accident, fire, improper use or having been used for competition purposes
• The vehicle having been modified or altered from Citroen's original specification
• The use of non-Citroen parts
• Normal wear and tear

Details of Citroen Extended Car Warranty Cover

The warranty extension does not cover any consequential loss/damage, repairs regarded as maintenance operations or items which are subject to adjustment / replacement during normal service. Such items include the following: Wiper blades, drive belts, brake pads and hand brake adjustments, wheel balancing/alignment, lamp assemblies, bulbs and fuses, headlamp adjustment, engine tuning, spark plugs, wheels and tyres, all body panels, paintwork or glass replacement, reprogramming of ECU's.
